I know that there are small unit tactics posted around the web, but I wanted to share my quick experience with tactics in Batterack. The basic manuever I encourage on my team, nearly every time, is the hook. This is essentially a flanking manuever. Imagine two teams of three warriors facing each other in a line.
A B C
1 2 3
The opposing team is A, B, and C. The team about to employ the hook is 1, 2, and 3. Warrior 1 will loosely engage warriors A and B. Warrior 1 is just distracting warriors A and B, not trying to actually hit them. Warrior 2 moves to engage warrior C, but again is primarily a distraction.
A B C <- 3
1 2
Warrior 3 is the hook, and quickly moves to flank and kill warrior C.
A B 3
1 2
If warrior 1 has managed to stay alive, the hook has now succeeded. Warrior 1 can focus on distracting warrior A. Warrior 2 slides over to distract warrior B. Warrior 3 continues to hook and kills warrior B.
The hook can be used with 3 or more warriors, just keep the proportions about the same. Group 1 skirmishes, trying to simply distract and stay alive. Group 2 engages, but fights defensively. Group 3 is the hook, flanks, and kills.
